Apr. 25, 1955 - Queen Mother Flies By Helicopter To Present New Colours: Queen Elizabeth, The Mother, today presented new Colours to the 1st. Battalion. The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, of which she is Colonel-in-Chief, at Assays Barracks, Tidworth. The Queen Mother flew to Tidworth by helicopter. Photo shows The new Colours being marchedoff after today's ceremony
