May 05, 1979 - Victoria's Secret affair?: Queen Victoria would not be amused were she alive today to know the controversy over a claim that she married her Scotish servant John Brown and had a son by him. The claim was made by museum Curator Dr. Michael MacDonald who says that his evidence has been obtained over the past ten years The son lived as a recluse in Paris and died at the age of 90 in the 1950s according to Dr. MacDonald. Buckingham Palace has now stepped into the controversy, and a spokesman said There is not a shred of evidence in the Windsor Archives to support these allegations.
