Nov. 11, 1955 - State apartments at Kensington Palace to be re-opened to the public. The state apartments at Kensington Palace are to be re-opened to the Public on Thursday Nov. 29th. Since they were last opened to the Public the apartments have undergone many changes - and have been extensively re-decorated. Much of Queen Mary's furnitures will be shown.
