Nine RAF planes in formation for Farnborough Display

1968 - A Nine Aircraft Loop for Farnborough Display. The first jet aerobatic team to perform as a formation of five aircraft, No. 111 Squadron has now evolved another new technique, which is to be shown for the first time at the SBAC display at Farnborough. Nine aircraft of the squadron will break away from the fly past formation of 27 Hunters and loop the loop before five of them go into their demonstration. The squadron has been chosen to represent RAF Fighter Command in public displays this year.
