RAF volunteers training horses for Coronation, Hyde Park

1953 - Volunteers Train Horses For use By VIPs during Coronation. A camp has been set up in Hyde Park for the training of horses to be used by VIPs of the three services during the Coronation ceremonies. The horses, none of which have as yet been on the roads, are being trained by volunteers of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They are being accustomed to the noise and bustle associated with the Coronation.
