Refugee children in ceremony, Greece

Jul. 07, 1950 - Greek Children return to their Liberated Villages in Northern Greece. Children from villages in Northern Greece who were brought to Athens for shelter during the Civil War, living in special boarding houses which were under the supervision of queen Frederika of Greece, are now returning, after more than three years, to their liberated homes. A farewell ceremony took place in the main Square in Athens which was attended by Queen Frederika, the young Crown Prince and Princesses.
