Mar. 22 Marshal Tito Helped German mother! He sent her Chikdern back: For long years the German refugees-woman Elise Kuhn fought a despaired struggle about their Children. It was at the end of the war just 8 years ago when she was separated by force from them, She and her husband were led away by Yugoslav Partoisable and handed over to the Soviets for hard labour. In 1946 she f;led from Russia to the German Soviet Zone and from there in 1948 to Bavaria. After long investigations she finally learned that her children Susanne and Johann were in Yugoslav orphan asylums. After a lond period of anxiety she got the first lines from her daughter in a roundabout way reading as follows: We are Hungary!. and we urgently need some clothing! This was in 1950. And still in 1950 the Yugoslav government gave permission to transport 1200 children to Germany who were held back there. At once Kuhn handed in an application that her two children were to be brought back. Three transports arrived in 1952 and they were not among them, Then she wrote a letter in serbian language to Shal Tito himself. On March 19*th she got the answer that Su and Johann were among the next transport. And on March 21st she got a tlegram of the Bavarian Red Cross: Susi and Johnann arriving in Nuremberg on March 21st. Mrs. Kuhn was trembling with excit when the train arrived. Some minutes later the embraced each other being separated 8 years ago and now rejoined by the favour of the Shal Tito. This Picture shows The children when her mother was led away by Russians
