Refugees Cross the Jordan: A bout 350 refugees, many carrying bundles and suitcases, on Friday (Aug 18) crossed back over the Jordan to return to their homes in the Israeli-occupied west bank. The refugees crossed by the Allenby Bridge, and their return was supervised by the international Red Cross. Those who returned were each given 5 by Jordan officials.
