Mar. 02 During the last four weeks about 30, 000 refugees from the Soviet-zone of Germany were asking for asylum in Western Berlin. It is naturally very difficult to provide for the housing facilities for all these people as there is much lack of shelter. The refugees campes are already overcrowded. Now a Berlin-Heuklln wood factory cleared a workshop in order to give more than 3000 people shelter. There is now one pllasse beside the other, used by old and young under one roof. Photo shows need and distress actually to be seen in refugee-camps
