Aug. 08, 1967 - Refugees Cross the Jordan: About 350 Refugees, many carrying bundles and suitcases, on Friday (Aug.18), crossed back over the Jordan to return to their homes in the Israeli-occupied West bank. the refugees crossed by the Allenby Bridge, and their return was supervised by the International Red cross. Those who returned were each given by Jordan officials, and had their papers stamped by Israeli officials.
