Feb. 02, 1967 - Refugees Cross Into Somalia: The first pictures taken on the Kenya Ethiopia/Somalia border post at Pullo Hawa, Somalia. Thousands of Somalia refugees are crossing into Somalia every day from Kenya and Ehtiopia. Refugees arriving at Bullo Hawa are almost starving to death with hunger and thirst, they complain about the way they are being treated by the Kenya and Ethiopian soldiers. The refugees, mainly women and children, complain that their men folk are being killed, cattle raided and villages are burned by Kenya and Ethiopian soldiers. At Bullo Hawa, the refugees are received in a little village and are given food and water by Somali police. Photo shows: Refugees crossing the border line from Kenya into Somalia
