Jan. 01, 1973 - The First Ugandan Refugees arrive in Germany: The first Indian refugees from Uganda arrived at the Cologne-Bonn airport. The 30 Asians arrived in two German Army aircrafts, from England, where many of the refugees are still living in camps. The German Government has stated that 1000 refugees will be allowed to settle in Germany
