Refugees

Oct. 10, 1988 - Burundian refugees in Rwanda: About 60'000 members of the Hutu-tribe fled from Rwanda to Burundi by reason of persecution and harrassments they suffered from the Tutsi-dominated military in Rwanda. Along the boarder between Rwanda and Burundi refugee-camps have been set up and in the biggest one in Katarara, 11'000 refugees found a shelter. Photo shows Rwandan refugees during their collective preparation of food
