Regency Council formed on death of General Franco, Spain

Oct. 29, 1975 - As dictated by the Spanish Constitution, a Regency Council was formed after the death of General Franco, while waiting for the coronation of Juan Carlos, the designated successor of Claudillo. The Council will be made up of the following members: Alexandro Rodriguez de Valcarcel, Pedro Cantero Cuadrado, and General Salas Larrasabal
