Feb. 29 Preparations in Bayreuth The management of the Bayreuth Festival entered into the last engagements for this year's festival which will be opened on July 23rd, 1953 with Lohengrin in the staging by Wolfgang Wagner under the musical direction of Professor Joseph Keilberth. The well known American soprano Regina Resnik who also comes from New York Metropolitan Opera as also Ramon Vinay does
