Rehearsal for Coronation procession, London

May 17, 1953 - Practice For Coronation Coaches: A practice for the assembly of the Coaches at Buckingham Palace and their dispersal and re-forming at Westminster Abbey was held this morning. All the carriages of the Colonial rulers and Prime Ministers with their Escorts took part - the escort being represented by units of the Household Cavalry in khaki dress. The three carriages of the Royal Princess had an escort of four behind the last carriage.
