Oct. 10, 1966 - A Rehearsal Of A Mediaeval Joustng Tournament For Next Week's Battle Of Hastings Celebrations: A full dress rehearsal of a mediaeval jousting tournament which takes place next week to commemorate the 900th. anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, was held today (Sunday, Oct. 9), at Eridge Park, Kent, the home of tthe Marqueze of Abergavenny. The actual pageant presented by the Bexhill Round Table, in aid of Sussex charities, will take place on part of the original 1066 battlefield outside Hastings.
