Jul. 07, 1959 - Rehearsing for the searchlight tattoo, Johnny the Chimp. A rehearsal was held today of scenes from the White City Searchlight Tattoo - in which Johnny McTurk a chimpanzee in Scottish dress drives a remote controlled motor cycle. This is one of the events staged by the Army Mechanical Transport School. Photo shows Miss Mollie Badham of Sutton Coldfield - who owns Johnny - dressed as a policewoman as she chases him during the rehearsal at Duke of York's HQ this morning
