Aug. 08, 1954 - Dancer in sea after quarrel. Following backstage row at Blackpool opera house. Apache dancer Rene Bedau walked out of the Blackpool opera house about midnight on Saturday - and disappeared into the heavy seas pounding the Blackpool seafront. Bedau, a 30 year old Frenchman, had been appearing with Mr. Bob Laurent and his wife Lucia in the opera house summer show The talk of the town'.
