Feb. 28 Viktoria's charm newly gilt: Berlin's highest lady in terms of location gets a special cosmetic treatment. The Viktoria on the victory column had lost a little bit of its shine the 104 year old lady started rusting. Now she is being covered from head to foot with thin gold leaf without having to move. The embellishment of the victory goddess created by the sculptor Friedrich Drake after his 18 year old daughter Margarete will cost about 2 million Marks
