Replica model of winning sculpture after first was damaged

1953 - Second Edition of Prizewinning Sculpture on Exhibition at the Gallery.: The second edition of Mr. Reg Butler's unknown political prisoner sculpture was being taken to the Tate Gallery today. The first edition was smashed on March 15th while on exhibition at the Tate. Mr. Butler was today putting his replica on the Pedestal which his original work occupied. There has been no change in the layout of the exhibition, and his new Prisoner is as accessible to the public as the old one was. But extra But extra attendants are now on duty in the room containing the prize winners in this sculpture competition. Mr. Butler as winner of the first prize collected 4525.
