Jun. 10, 1968 - Rehearsals to Mark the 50th Anniversary of the R.A.F. At Abingdon in preparation for the Royal Visit: A full rehearsal to mark the 50th anniversary of the Royal Air Force took place today at R.A.F. Abingdon, Berke. The giant display will be seen by the Queen, Prince Philip, The Queen Mother, the Duchess of Gloucester and princess Marina, when they visit there of Friday, June 14th. Photo shows The Vickers Gunbus flies again. This replica of the famous Vickers F.B.5, better known as the Gunbus built by the Vintage Aircraft Flying Association, made its reappearance during today's rehearsal
