Restoration of Royal Barge, Greenwich, London
260-Year-Old Barge Made For A Queen Has Been Restored: For the past few months three man - David Chenoweth, Albert Smith and Albert Porter, an expert in gilding, have been working to restore the Queen's Shallop, a Royal barge built by William III for his Queen Mary in 1689. The work is now completed, and next year the barge will have a new home at the National Maritime Museum, at Greenwich.
