Returnees from Soviet Union to Vienna Station, Austria
Now also large transport with returnees arrived in Austria. The first large transport with returnees from the Soviet Union arrived at station Wiener Neustadt (Vienna), this Thursday evening. At their arrival the more than 600 returnees, among 613, 20 women and one child, were welcomed by the Austrian Federal Minister Dr. Gruber. There were also 15 Germans in this transport who travelled in the meantime on to the Federal Republic and crossed the border near Freilassing. Keystone picture, dtd, October 16th, 1953
