Dec. 12, 1976 - Richard Burton is recording the role of the storyteller in BBC Radio 4's Vivat Rex': Actor Richard Burton who is currently in London with his new wife, Suzy Hunt, formerly the wife of the world champion racing driver, James Hunt, today went along to broadcasting House where he is recording the role of the Storyteller in BBC Radio 4's Vivat Rex, a 26 week radio drama series, beginning in February. The series is the dramatic chronicle of the English crown through 200 years of its bloodiest history, from the accession of Edward II to the birth of Elizabeth I Richard Burton is recording over 100 narrations, linking the reigns of eleven kings, and is the only actor, in a cast of over 300, to appear in all 26 episodes of Vivat Rex'.
