Dec. 12, 1972 - Richard Burton In New Film: Under the direction of Yorgho Pam Cosmatos the film with the provisional title Death in Rome is being made in Rome, in which Richard Burton plays the role of Major Manfred Kappler who ordered reprisals after the attempt in which 32 German soldiers died.
