Nov. 11, 1967 - Richard Chamberlain (Dr. Kildare) to star in B.B.C Color Drama and He's the patient: Richard Chamberlain, known to millions of BBC-1 viewed as Dr.Kildare, is to star in his first BBC2 drama, as a young American suffering from tuberculosis. He plays the sensitive role of Ralph in a six part dramatization of Henry James novel Portrait of a Lady to be screened on BBC-2 in color, beginning on January 6th, 1968. The Lady: of the title is played by lovely Suzanne Neve, one of the stars in the successful serial The Forsyte Saga'. This evening Richard Chamberlain met Suzanne, his leading lady, for the first time at a reception at the BBC Television Center.
