Dec. 12 White Schoolgirl And Black Seaman Star In New Film - A Taste Of Honey Black-And-White Theme: Sure to cause a sensation will be the film version of Shelagh Delaney's famous novel and play A Taste of Honey - now being made by Tony Richardson. Stars of the film are Rita Tushingham who plays the part of a schoolgirl - driven into the arms of Black Seaman - played by Paul Danquah. Rita is now the possessor of a 125, 000 contract - although she has never before been before the film cameras - she took up the role direct from Liverpool Rep. She was chosen from 2, 000 applicants for the part. At a time when the racial question is before the eyes of the world - the film will be studied with greater interest than ever.
