Robert Pirschl works on Ulm Cathedral model

Jul. 07, 1967 - The Cathedral of Ulm: is being accomplished on the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. The sculptor Robert Pirschl has been working on a model of this famous gothic building since 1963. It has been errected on a reduced scale of 1:25; it is 5, 70 m long and 2, 40 broad; the nave has a height of 2, 30 m and the steeple one of 5, 50 m. The industrialist Will Dommel from Dusseldorf gave this order to Robert Pirschl who has already made a model of the beautiful fountain of Nurnberg as well as the Cologne Dome which can also be seen in Mr. Dommel's mini town, called Minidomm, in which all famous German works of art shall be collected
