Robert Stolz famous operetta-film Two hearts in Three Four Time (German: Zwei Herzen im Dreivierteltakt) was staged as an operetta, at Munich's Gaertnerplatz Theater, on June 10, 1953. When asked by many critics whether his play would be a success, Stolz said So many good operettas have been filmed, why not mine trying vice versa?
