Jun. 06, 1965 - The Rolling Stones Receive Tumultuous Welcome when They Arrive In Oslo: The Rolling Stones received a tumultuous welcome when they arrived at Oslo Airport for the concert in Oslo. Hundreds of teenagers had spent the night on the balconies and the top floor of the air terminal building to get a glimpse of their idols. As the pop group stepped from the aircraft the fans went wild and broke through the policeordons and charged on the runway. Police had to use fire hoses to check the crowed from causing complete chaos. Photo shows Fireman using their hoses to keep the screaming fans from causing complete chaos at Oslo Airport
