The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, filming

Sep 20, 1968 - London, England, United Kingdom - Lead singer Mick Jagger adjusts his wardrobe during filming of The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. NICKY HOPKINS, BILL WYMAN, BRIAN JONES, KEITH RICHARDS, CHARLIE WATTS, ROCKY DIJON are all seated. The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was originally meant to be aired on the BBC, but the Rolling Stones withheld it, saying they did so due to their substandard performance, because they had taken the stage early in the morning and were clearly exhausted. The footage was shelved for twenty-eight years but was finally released officially in 1996. (Credit Image: (c) KEYSTONE Pictures/ZUMA Wire/ZUMAPRESS.com/Mary Evans)
