Dec. 15 She Lives By Being A Serpent: Half French, half Chinese, Rose Llanos, who is under five feet, and weighs less than seven stone, is nightly thrown about by two hunters who catch her in the Prince of Wales Theatre jungle act, during the Pardon My French revue. Her skin-tight serpent dress only lasts a couple of weeks because of the friction as she is swung against the stage floor. She studied the movements of snakes in various zoos, and today finds a strange fascination in imitating them. She likes nothing better than to practise her serpent-like movements in the park.
