1953 - JUST A COUPLE OF COPS - A ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTIE COMES TO LONDON. Forty five Royal Canadian Mounted Police, in their full dress scarlet and yellow uniforms, will ride in the Coronation Procession. The first of the contingent, Sgt. Tom Norn, has arrived in London. The Sgt. said that the Mounties are not really mounted any more - they do their hunting in high powered cars.
