Rubens painting in exhibition at Dulwich, London
Apr. 05 Stolen Paintings On View. Private View At Dulwich College Picture Gallery. At the Dulwich College Picture Gallery today, Sir Gerald Kelly, K.C.V.O. P.P.R.A. presided at a private press view of the eight paintings which were stolen from the Gallery at the end of last year (30th/31st December 1966). The paintings, valued at between 1 and 2 million - 3 Rembrandts, 3 Rubens, 1 Elsheimer, 1 Dou - were recovered a few days after the robbery. They did not suffer any serious damage. They have been restored and re-hung and will be on view to the general public as from Saturday, March 4th. 1967. Keystone Photo Shows:- Mr. E.C.
