Oct. 25, 1970 - Russian Ballerina who defected will Appear on Television with her Old Partner Rudolf Nureyev: Natalia Makarova, the Russian Ballerina who was granted political asylum in Britain, danced with ballet star Rudolf Nureyev during today's recording of a gala performance at the London Coliseum. The performance is to be televised by BBC1 at a later date. Makarova and Nureyev have danced together before when they were both members of the Kirov company in Leningrad.
