Jan. 09 Rudolf Schock becomes 60 on September 4th 1975 - On September 4th, 1975 famous German tenor Rudolf Schock will be 60 years old. Rudolf Schock was born 1915 in Duisburg and first started singing at the age of six in a children's choir. From 1937 until 1940 ha sang at the State Theatre in Hanover, 1940-1945 he was a soldier at war and from 1945 he sang at the Berlin Opera House and in Hanover. 1949/50 he sang at the Covent Garden Opera in London. Since 1951 Rudolf Schock is a guest singer in Vienna, Hamburg, Munich and in Berlin. He was given the title of an Austrian first-rate concert-singer in 1954.
