Manchester city player may be out of football for good.: Nineteen minutes, after the start of the Manchester City - Newcastle Cup Final on Saturday - Jimmy Meadows wrenched his knee. He was off the field for the rest of the match.Examination of the injury showed strained ligaments - and his leg has been put in plaster. It is quite possible he may never be able to play football again.
