Jul. 07, 1957 - That18, 000 Changes Alec Stock's Mind For The Third Time: Alec Stock, manager of Leyton Orient Football Club, has changed his mind for the third time. He said Yes yesterday to an18, 000-in-two-years offer from the Italian Club Roma. Asked why he has changed his mind he replied; sheer financial reasons. The money overwhelmed me'. Mr Stock had twice previously refused offers to join the Roma club as coach. Yesterday's developments followed after a meeting between Mr Stock and Sgr. Gigi Peronage, the Italian agent.
