Oct. 15, 1960 - Ugly Indigents As Greek Footballers Try To Attack Referee During Match in Athens: There were Frantic scenes uring a first division football match between Panathinaikos and A.E.K. in Athens. Tempers Frayed when the referee disallowed a goal as being offside, and scored by A.E.K. which would have ended the game in a draw. Police were called to protect the referee from being attacked by some of the A.E.K. players. The game ended in a win for Panathinaikcs.
