Aug. 08, 1970 - Final Of International Table Soccer Tournament.: The final took place today at the Savoy Hotel of Britain's first-ever International Table Soccer Tournament, in which table soccer champions from thirteen countries tool part. The tournament was organised by Subbuteo Sports Games Ltd, of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. After the final, the trophies were presented by Gordon Banke, the Stroke City and England goalkeeper. Winner of the tournament was Peter Czarkowski, a 16-year old student, of Dortmund, W. Germany.
