Sep. 13, 1971 - George best is let off after attending an F.A. disciplinary committee in London: Manchester United forward George Best was left off today when he appeared before the FA Disciplinary Committee in London today. His appearance before the Committee followed the sending off the Best during Manchester United's game against Chelsea on Aug. 18th by referee Norman Burthenshaw. Best is already under a suspended ban of six weeks. Photo shows George Best is seen leaving the hearing at the Great Western Hotel, Paddington, after the verdict today
