Jan. 07, 1972 - George Best Vanishes: George Best, the Manchester United soccer star has gone missing - and has failed to report for training all week - and has been dropped from tomorrow's home game against Wolves. Manager Frank O'Farrell said today: George Best has not trained all week and therefore cannot be fit for tomorrow's match. A close friend of Best's said that he has recently been escorting Miss Great Britain - 19-year-old Carolyn Moore, who lives in Nantwich, Cheshire.
