Dec. 17, 1969 - Demonstrators fail to Mar Springboks match.: Six anti-apatheid demonstrators, including a girl of 22, stopped the Springboks v Combined Services rugby match when they ran on to the pitch at Aldershot yesterday after scrambling over two specially-built fences. They tried to throw leaflets at the South Africans. Police carried them off. The South Africans beat the Combines Services 14-6. Photo shows incident during the Springboks (dark shirts) v.
