May 13, 1971 - When the Referee Changes with the Lines-man: A very rare thing happened during the last night's international football game between Switzerland and Greece in Berne: A sudden muscular strain obliged the welsh referee J.P.Jones to abandon his job and to change with his linesman T.H.C. Reynolds. Photo shows Referee Jones as linesman. The masseur of the swiss team, M.Haner, gives him a paincalming injection, while the famous swiss referee Gottlieb Dienst (referee in the world-cup final England-Germany in 1966) is watching this unusual operation at the sideline
