Oct. 23, 1972 - It Doesn't Always Pay To Win. Soccer star Timoner, of U. D. Campos, seems to be thinking it doesn't always pay to win, as he was chased by angry fans of the local team who had just been beatem, and who as the final whistle went, invaded the pitch and chased the winners in most unfriendly fashion, which resulted in some of the players being injured. such behaviour has been strongly criticed by the island's sporting fans. It all happened at Palma, Majorca
