Mar. 04, 1954 - The Russian freighter Ligovo ran into trouble in the North East Sea Canal, which was blocked. Damage was already in the range of over 500, 000DM. The ship was carrying valuable pelts and hides. The crew worked quickly, hoping to find as many of the pelts as they could before they washed away
