Oct. 14, 1953 - The most important lady in the Soviet Union, Mrs Elena Malenkov wife of the Russian Dictator: The first picture to be published in Western Europe of Mrs.Elena Malenkov, wife of the Russian Leader, and was once a singer in Moscow's Bolshoi Theater, and is believed to be the influence behind Mr. Malenkov's recent edicts on the aesthetics of make up. She has a son aged 8 and a daughter aged 6.She is a member of the Supreme Soviet, and the model of the new Soviet Woman. This portrait was published in a recent issue of a Russian cultural magazine called Soviet Skoya Isgutva All pictures of her in her stage roles have been withdrawn
