1956 - Mr. Malenkov - and the Dagenham girl pipers - visit the Mansion House.: Mr. George Malenkov the Soviet Minister for Power Stations - this morning paid a visit to the Mansion House where he was received by the Lord Mayor. Also visiting the Mansion House this morning were the famous Dagenham Girl Pipers - who have just completed a tour of the United Sates and Canada. Photo shows Peggy Iris the Pipe Major plays her bagpipes as they are held by Mr. Malenkov - when they met at the Mansion House this morning
