Dec. 12, 1955 - Alexander Vlasov attends all union congress of Soviet architects in Moscow. Architect A.V. Vlasov seen delivering a report on the main tasks of science in the field of construction and architecture in the light of contemporary requirements, during the Second All Union Congress of Soviet Architects, held in Moscow. Last month, Vlasov was suddenly sacked as Moscow's chief architect and President of the Soviet Academy of Architecture, while on an American Tour with Russian Housing delegation, and when he arrived in Paris on his way home from New York, Frenchmen and Russian exiles, who claimed he was being kidnapped, scuffled with police at St. Lazare railway station
